CAMP OWAKONZE

The Wilderness Immersion Course begins and ends at Camp Owakonze on Baril Lake, Ontario. Founded as a wilderness boys camp in the 1920s, Owakonze closed down in the late 1990s. Seeing a kindred fraternity in the Camping & Education Foundation, Owakonze’s loyal alumni purchased the property in 2016 and gifted it to the organization.
