How does one express the ultimate in gratitude especially when a note, no matter how personal, never seems to meet the moment? We continually hear that camps around the country are struggling with finances, enrollment and staffing, and yet, we are standing tall, ready to launch our 99th summer at Kooch-i-ching and our 19th summer at Ogichi. Why are we still thriving after all this time? One advantage is being on the doorstep of the finest canoe country in the world. Another is that since early on, our leadership has had the vision to acquire the property our camps call home. And, the impact we have on participant’s lives and the values we teach are timeless. Even so, the stark reality is that we would not be on the cusp of our centennial anniversary without the incredible financial support from our alumni, parents and friends. For this we are eternally grateful. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
